Window Seat Please

Hi! I'm Chakel. I've loved jumping on airplanes and going anywhere and everywhere since I was 6. I've loved picking up my dad, family, and friends from the airport coming home or for a visit. Sharing the stories and pictures and moments. Beautiful moments shared.

There's always been something wondrous about travel to me: The coming together of people, the sharing of life, the dreams of what could be, the memories of when time stood still or we wished it had... It's a little addicting for me to be honest. I might be obsessed.

So naturally, when my mother in law asked if I wanted to join her in the travel industry as a travel agent/advisor, I was thrilled. As a new mom, I don't get to jetset quite as often as I like these days... yet... but so far it has been a joy to help people plan their dream vacations. Plus having my mother in law's 21 years of expertise in my back pocket, I couldn't enjoy what I do any more.

Note: Travel tip #1: If you're short like me, and don't need to get up much. Always take the window seat. It makes short naps easier, plus you get to enjoy sunshine above beautiful landscapes or above fluffy white clouds. Either option tends to help me wax poetic and puts that 6 year old grin right back on my face!
